Please, Daddy, No - Stuart Howarth

This book was so good that I read it in ONE sitting.

An exceptional story.
A poignant true story.

Will tug at your heart-strings,
harder than ever before.

A tragic story,
filled with the worst of its kind,
the horrid wrong-doings of mankind,
only to have a triumphant ending!

I dare you to pick up this book,
I dare you to read from cover to cover,
I dare you to finish this book.

Take note, an excerpt from the book said:

We need to educate children and teach them about inappropriate behavior in schools, as part of their sex education. It's no good telling children 'Don't talk to strangers', because most victims of abuse know the perpetrators well. Most abusers are within families or in position of trust, so the child doesn't recognize that what they are doing is wrong.

.very very true.

PS: thanks to Vanessa for lending it to me.

PSS: If ever Howarth reads this, I would say hurrah for you! Your strength & perseverance inspired me!

Nanny Dairies - the show

A great show!

my type of show.

funny, entertaining, heart-wrenching.

tells about a girl, just after graduation,
trying to find her footing in life,
when fate intervenes,
and brings her to be a nanny.

see how she copes with
the everyday chores,
the family problems,
and the cute child.

storyline is told in a very weird out of sorts way,
which is both refreshing and interesting.

final note:
the most important factor- spending quality time with your family.
