the songs are fast and catchy
the characters are relatable
the storyline is beyond superb

tells of:
a budding filmmaker
a songwriter who's yet to write a song
a dancer who's also a junkie
a crossdresser who's having AIDS
and his newfound love
a liberal lesbian
and her girlfriend, a lawyer
and all of them facing financial difficulties
because of a friend who turned against them

this show never fails
to make me laugh in delight
and cry my heart out
all in all, a wonderful plot
